Flavors of AI
The term “AI” is finding its way into practically any conversation that involves technology. It is becoming harder to understand what “AI” is and what it is not. Conversations then need a few minutes for both parties to get a sense of what they mean when referring to their understanding of AI. This interactive session will discuss the different flavors of AI, including GenAI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, and AgenticAI. After talking through the various categories of AI, we can then briefly dive into defining what makes something truly AI or just another new technology. The discussion will stay high-level and avoid the technical jargon. The objective will be for participants to come away with a better foundation to start and continue discussions on where and when AI can help.
